Miramare Castle

The Friuli-Venezia Giulia is a small Italian region, in the extreme north-east of the peninsula, on the border with Austria and Slovenia.
It is one of the least known regions of the country, certainly underestimated, with its many faces, which can be summed up in a few words: nature, sea, historic cities, villages, mountains and gastronomy. Let us also add the peaceful side of its lack of mass tourism.

The proximity of Slovenia and Austria, with which the region shares a complex history, also marks the regional culture, the architectural heritage, but also the dialect and the cuisine.
